Cebu-based Virginia Farms is expanding its meat retailing arm in Iloilo City.
The company is set to open two branches of The Pork Shop beside the La Paz Public Market and in the Iloilo Terminal Market, popularly known as “Super.”
These are the first two branches of The Pork Shop outside of Cebu.
The Pork Shop, which currently has 42 branches in Cebu, sells “pre-cut fresh chilled and fresh frozen pork meat and other farm produce.”
Virginia Farms president Rolando Tambago, in a report by The Freeman said they have partnered with piggery operators in Iloilo for the expansion
