Footballers from the University of St. La Salle Integrated School Under 10 retained their title after pounding Trinity Christian School in the NOPSSCEA football finals, 1-0 at the STI WNU Football Field.
The back-to-back champions were led by Tavey Andrew Limas converting a top corner-curve kick in the 30th minutes mark.
Trailing in the game, Trinity tried to recover in the dying moments of the match but attempts were spoiled by Miguel Anthony Jochico and Juan Edmundo Rafael Yasay. With the victory, the team will represent the private schools group in the next level of the competition.
The champions included Renee Gavriel Animathea Lomugdang, Arkin Reef Moncatar, Andrei Isaac Asto, Zhan Matheo Brito, John Paul Ganoy, Daniel Clifford Dumancas, Shanndrey Van Ereje, Diego Luis Valdez.
