Carles is one of the seven areas where Ursula made landfall.

The typhoon brought heavy rains that triggered floods in most of the towns in the northern part of the province.

The floods also destroyed agricultural crops and livestock in the areas.

Strong winds caused by the typhoon uprooted trees, downed power lines, and toppled houses.

Ursula, one of the strongest storms to hit the country this year, also battered the provinces of Capiz, Aklan and Antique.IMT
