Six people were confirmed dead after Typhoon Ursula battered the northern part of Iloilo on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG-6), as of 6 p.m., recorded 3 deaths each in the towns of Balasan and Batad.
The fatalities were identified as Henry Alfuente, 56; Joemar Dela Cruz, 30; and Danilo Abedanio, 62 (Balasan); Roel de Asis, 41; Yanyan de Asis, 3; and Meme de Asis, 15 (Batad).
There were 3 missing people in Batad and 1 in Passi City.
In Capiz province, the typhoon left 2 people dead and 2 missing.
The fatalities were identified as Merlinda Baquilar, 53, of Pontevedra, and Edward Gautani, 12, of President Roxas.
Ursula made its fourth landfall at 2:30 a.m. in Gigantes Islands, Carles town.IMT
