Forty owners of total damaged houses due to typhoon Odette received cash assistance from the provincial government of Guimaras.

Governor Samuel Gumarin led the releasing of the financial assistance on January 25 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in San Miguel, Jordan.

Thirteen of the totally damaged houses are from the four villages of Buenavista and the remaining 27 are from the three villages of San Lorenzo.

According to the Guimaras Public Information Office, this is the third batch of recipients who were given cash assistance.

To date, 99 beneficiaries from the Municipalities of Buenavista and San Lorenzo have received cash assistance from the Provincial Government of Guimaras after their houses were totally damaged when Typhoon Odette battered the island-province last December 2021.Guimaras PIO/laf/PIA6-Iloilo
