Mayor Jerry Treñas has expressed dismay over the Department of Health’s (DOH-6) lack of response to the acute gastroenteritis (AGE) and cholera outbreak in Iloilo City.

In a press conference, Treñas said he was expecting guidance the DOH-6 as the city battles the rising cases of AGE and cholera.

Based on data from the City Health Office (CHO), the metropolis has 727 AGE cases and 30 cholera cases as of Sept. 28.

Of the AGE cases, 685 have recovered, 14 have died and 28 are considered active.IMT
