Reelectionist Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas has expressed confidence that he will win in the May 9 elections.
In an interview over radio station Bombo Radyo-Iloilo, Treñas said he has nothing to worry about because he leads by a wide margin in the recent survey.
“Indi man mainit ang eleksyon kay masyado ka layu to sa ulihi nga survey. Waay gid init subong. Ang ulo ko subong daw refrigerator.”
Based on the recent Random Access Consultants, Inc. (RACI) survey, Treñas got nearly 90 percent.
The incumbent mayor’s opponents are Radio blocktimer Salvador “Jun” Alojado Capulot and pedicab driver Vicente Ang.IMT
