Motorists have been advised to be more careful in driving along Muelle Loney Street in Barangay Yulo Arroyo, City Proper.
In an advisory, the city government’s Public Safety and Transportation Management Office (PSTMO) said a suspected sinkhole was found at a portion of the street.
“The team put barriers around the affected area,” it said.
A sinkhole is a cavity in the ground. It forms when the soil is drenched in water, especially when it’s made of limestone.
To avoid inconvenience, PSTMO advised motorists to take alternate routes.
“Motorists may experience light to moderate traffic within the road. [They] are also advised to take precaution.”IMT
