Several towns in the province of Iloilo will experience a 12-hour brownout on Sunday, April 10.
In its advisory, Iloilo Electric Cooperative (ILECO I) said the power interruption will start from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Affected towns are Alimodian, Cabatuan, Guimbal, Igbaras, Leon, Maasin, Miagao, Oton, San Joaquin, San Miguel, Tigbauan, and Tubungan.
The towns of Sta. Barbara (except for the villages of Lupa, Magansina, Conaynay, Calaboa Este, Agusipan, Cabugao Norte and portion of Canipayan) and Pavia (Maliao, Pandac, Parc Regency, Balabag, Jibao-an, portion of Cabugao Sur, Portion of Aganan, Don Julio Subdivision, and CPU Centennial Homes) will also be affected.
The power interruption is due to “various transmission line corrective activities in Sta. Barbara-Miagao-San Joaquin and Sta. Barbara-Cabatuan 69kV Lines.”IMT
