The Iloilo City Government is planning to put up satellite centers in malls in a bid to make paying taxes fast and convenient.
“Gusto ko malapta ang pagbayad sang business taxes kag real property taxes. Indi na sila magginutok diri sa City Hall,” said Mayor Jerry Treñas.
The satellite centers will also cater to applications for business permit renewal.
“Dira nalang man dayon makadto ang aton business operators to renew their permits,” said Treñas.
According to the mayor, the City Treasurer’s Office are now in talks with Robinsons Place Iloilo, Robinsons Place Jaro, SM City Iloilo, and Festive Walk Mall.
“Ginahingyo ta sa ila (malls) nga mahatagan kita lugar para mahapos na as aton taxpayers magbayad,” he said.IMT
