Former vice president Leni Robredo had a “lunch meeting” with Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas and Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. on Friday, Aug. 11.
In a Facebook post, Treñas described the meeting as “productive.”
“Delightful conversations and meaningful exchanges during our lunch today, focusing on shared goals and collaborative efforts,” he said.
Treñas and Defensor supported Robredo in the May 2022 elections. The lone female candidate topped the presidential race in the province and city of Iloilo with a total of 878, 032 votes.
Before the meeting, Robredo attended the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Iloilo Chapter’s 50th anniversary celebration where she served as guest of honor.IMT
