Miss Universe 2020 semi-finalist Rabiya Mateo shared her plans after the beauty pageant.
The 24-year-old Ilongga beauty queen said she would take a temporary break from social media.
Like many other public figures, Rabiya wasn’t spared from harsh words and criticisms online.
Last Friday, May 14, Rabiya broke down to tears after the Miss Universe National Costume competition. She apologized to those who did not like her performance.
Rabiya also has plans to enter the entertainment industry.
She said she wanted to become an actress and play a villain role.
The Miss Universe Top 21 finisher said she would also help Miss Universe Philippines, Inc. in looking for her successor.
In an interview last year, Rabiya, who graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy, said: “I want to proceed in studying medicine and become a doctor.” IMT
