Pinoy boxing legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is ready to conquer the boxing arena once again as he announced another exhibition match this year.
After his dominant performance against South Korean YouTube star DK Yoo, the boxing’s only eight-division world champion shared that he agreed to partner with Rizin, a Japanese Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion organization, for his next exhibition bout of the year.
To recall, Pacquiao joined the Rizin 40 event held at the Saitama Super Arena last December 31, 2022. He made everything official through his in-ring appearance and speech.
The Pinoy fighter’s opponent will be chosen by Rizin and the fight will be announced soon. Pacquiao said he’s satisfied with the recent clash especially that he knocked down Yoo twice in the last round.
The Filipino living legend started the game with a sluggish performance, but carrying the same speed and power punches, he eventually edged his foe.
With the game coming schedule coming out, it’s still uncertain if Pacquaio will fight in Japan first or against undefeated French boxer Jaber Zayani who already inked a deal against the Filipino boxer last year. The second exhibition will happen in Saudi Arabia next month.IMT Sports
