A drainage system at Simon Ledesma Street in Jaro district, Iloilo City is nearing completion.
The 4.6-million project, being undertaken by G. Uy Construction, is expected to be finished by October this year.
Implemented by the Iloilo City District Engineering Office, the project is seen to help address the problems of traffic and flooding in the area.
“Upon completion, this will eliminate transportation delays, prevent vehicular accidents and improve the waterway flow,” said Mayor Jerry. P. Treñas.
“Efficient traffic and drainage system are very essential parts of our progress, proving that Iloilo City is highly livable, and truly leveling up,” he stressed. IMT
