A fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Baybay Norte, Miagao, Iloilo on Monday morning, May 11.
A total of 10 houses were totally burned while one was partially damaged, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Fire Inspector Ronnie Malijan of the BFP-Miagao said the blaze started at around 10:32 a.m. and was put under control at around 11 a.m.
No casualty from the incident was reported.
Malijan said they are still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
The damage to property was estimated to be at around P1.5 million.IMT
