The Bacolod Master Sardines will also see action at their home turf as the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League invades Negros Occidental on Sept. 21, 2019.
Based on the post of Bacolod City lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya, they are still finalizing the details of the first home game which is expected to thrill the Negrenses.
“Save the date and show our support to ‘Team Bacolod,” he said. The home game will also showcase local talents with Bacolodnons Mark Dela Cruz, Nico Paolo Javelona, ES Santos, and Arben Dionson bannering the Master Sardines.
In addition, Spencer Pretta and Ralph Tansingco are also expected to make their debuts for the Bacolod City-based side as they are still playing in the 95th NCAA men’s basketball season for Lyceum of the Philippines University.
Meanwhile, Iloilo City will once again, host the seventh qualify leg of the 43rd National Milo Marathon on October 6 at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand.
According to the Iloilo City sports development office, the event will be divided into four race categories – 21-km half marathon, 10-km run, 5-km fun run, and 3-km fun run. The registration fees will range from P110 to P1,100, with the 21-km half marathon requiring a fit-to-run medical certificate.IMT
