A mild earthquake was felt in the town of Zarraga, Iloilo province early Wednesday morning, Feb. 5.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said the tremor with a magnitude of 2.0 occurred at 4:18 a.m.
The epicenter of the quake was traced four kilometers (kms) west of Zarraga.
The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of 17 kms.
The quake did not cause any damage.IMT
