A new office condominium tower that will be constructed in Iloilo Business Park (IBP) is seen to entice more investors to expand their operations in Iloilo.
Megaworld Corp. said that it is building the 19-storey International Corporate Plaza within IBP’s nine-hectare Commercial and Boutique Hotel District.
The tower will have 301 prime office units for sale to businesses, start-up companies, and established enterprises.
IBP vice president for sales and marketing Jennifer Palmares-Fong, in press conference at Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, said they are expecting financial institutions and pharmaceutical companies, among others, to occupy the office spaces.
The International Corporate Plaza, once completed in 2024, “will be the most modern and state-of-the-art office tower in Western Visayas,” according to Fong.
“Companies including entrepreneurs can own their office spaces and enjoy its generous facilities never been seen before in any office building in the region,” she said.
The International Corporate Plaza will house “managed facilities” at the 6th level, which include two boardrooms, three meeting rooms, co-working and breakout areas, an executive lounge, and sky gardens.
One of the skygarden will be found at the tower’s rooftop. It will provide a refreshing, tranquil views of the bustling cityscape as well as Guimaras Island.
The tower will also have a four-level parking podium, retail spaces, and arcade area at the ground floor.
“One of the main highlights of the tower is its enhanced security and safety features, another first in Western Visayas,” Fong said.
Keycard-enabled turnstiles will provide enhanced security for the building’s main lobby, and RFID cards will be used to secure the parking areas.
The new structure will also be fiber optic-ready, and equipped with its own seismic detection and monitoring system, building management system (BMS), 24-hour Security and Fire Command Center, fire security system, and a 100% back-up power facility.
The International Corporate Plaza offers prime office spaces ranging from 26 square meters (sqm) to 65 sqm with an average price of P155,000 per sqm.
Megaworld is expected to generate P2 billion in sales from this new office development.IMT
