Marcos-Carpio tandem to hold grand rally in Iloilo

The tandem of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte-Carpio — who are running for president and vice president, respectively — will hold a campaign rally in Iloilo province on Thursday, Feb. 24.

Passi City Vice Mayor Jesry Palmares, provincial chairman of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), said the grand rally will be held at the Barotac Nuevo Public Plaza from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Carpio and Marcos will be joined by candidates in the senatorial line-up of the UniTeam.

Former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is also expected to grace the event.

Before proceeding to the province’s First District, Marcos and Carpio will attend an event at the Iloilo Convention Center in Mandurriao disctrict, Iloilo City.

Palmares assured that health protocols will be strictly implemented during the visit of Marcos and Carpio.IMT
