The Iloilo City Government’s Business Processing and Licensing Office (BPLO) backed the proposed mandatory drug testing among workers and business operators.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-6) Director Alex Tablate encouraged the City Council to pass a resolution making drug testing as one of the requirements for work and business permit applications.
BPLO head Norman Tabud said the proposal would help ensure that business establishments in the city are free of illegal drugs.
“Kon may ara na proposed ordinance, we will support that para mapasar. Kon approved na ni mayor, implement ta na ina,” he said.IMT
