A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Negros Occidental on Tuesday, Nov. 2, and it was felt in Iloilo City.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said the earthquake was recorded at 4:05 p.m.

The epicenter of the tremor, which was tectonic in origin, was located at 18 kilometers northwest of Sipalay City in Negros Occidental. It had a depth of 18 kilometers.

Intensity V was felt in Sipalay City and Cauayan City, Negros Occidental.

Intensity IV was felt in Hinobaan, Negros Occidental.

Intensity III was felt in Iloilo City, Jordan in Guimaras, Bayawan City in Negros Oriental, and Bago City in Negros Occidental.

Intensity II was felt in La Carlota City and Bacolod City.

Intensity I was felt in Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental.IMT
