The Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals with a 114-108 win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 4.
Both teams capitalized on their man-to-man defense and high-percentage shots. But Lakers gained the lead early in the opening stanza.
Fresh from his cold-blooded triple that won the Game 2 clash, Anthony Davis paced the Lakers anew, following his impressive 32 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. LeBron James also steered the team with 26 points and 9 rebounds.
Jamal Murray, on the other hand, led the Nuggets’ squad with 32 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists. Nikola Jokic was also spectacular in the game but suffered with foul trouble which caused him to miss a good chunk of the fourth quarter.
Denver now faces a 3-1 series deficit, while Lakers looks to advance to the NBA Finals with a win in Game 5 on Saturday.IMT
