It will be a homecourt advantage for Kaya FC Iloilo as it plays against Philippine Air Force in the Philippines Football League (PFL) at the Iloilo Sports Complex (ISC) grounds next month.

Ilonggo fans are expected to converge at the ISC, fielding the crowd area with gray and black.

The twin matches against Air Force are set on Sept. 22 and 25, 2019. To recall, the Iloilo-based team played most of their games in Batangas and Cavite. Air Force is also hungry fora win after they were battered by Kaya in two games this season.

Kaya FC hopes to win the game with the motivation from the cheering Ilonggos as it looks to regain the top spot. Ceres Negros FC leads the league with 31 points while Kaya is in second spot with 28 points.

During their last game, Jordan Mintah came up with a marginal goal as Kaya pulled off a 1-0 victory over Green Archers United FC at the Aboitiz Pitch in Batangas.

The Ghanian striker broke the deadlock at the 84th minute to momentarily win the game. Kaya had four early chances on the goal, courtesy of a penalty attempt from Negrense Jayson Panhay, two attempts from a distance by Mintah and another attempt from Ilonggo Jovin Bedic.

The scoreless deadlock was finally shattered with three minutes remaining in the regulation. Negros striker Jalsor Soriano passed the ball over to Mintah, who successfully scored the goal over the Green Archers United keeper.IMT
