JCI Iloilo Ilang Ilang opens applications for Ang Ilongga Awards Year 8

Are you a student leader from a university or college in Iloilo?

JCI Iloilo Ilang Ilang is once again looking for an outstanding woman leader through its Ang Ilongga Awards Year 8.

Lara Jeunesse Villaruel, Secretary of the organization, said that this year, the Ang Ilongga Awards will focus on recognizing the outstanding woman student leader in Iloilo.

Female 3rd year and 4th year college students of colleges or universities in the city or province of Iloilo who are 18 years old or older; has a notable contribution to education; and has close involvement with the youth can apply for the Ang Ilongga Awards.

Among the applicants, the organization will choose the Top 10 applicants where they must participate in 2 or more projects of the organization before reaching the panel interview where the Top 5 or Top 3 finalists will be selected.

The Ang Ilongga Awards Year 8 winner will be chosen from the finalists.

Meanwhile, Villaruel also stated that there will be collaboration between JCI Iloilo Ilang Ilang and an organization that can offer the opportunity to the winner to apply for a master’s degree in South Korea.
