Two graduates from Iloilo emerged as topnotchers of the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals.
Jean Margaret Gelladuga Badong, an alumna of Iloilo State College of Fisheries (ISCOF-Main Campus), and John Rey Fortu Rasgo, an alumnus of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) shared the top spot with a score of 86.25 percent.
Nine other UPV graduates made it to the Top 10. They were:

5. Leslie Tutas Sampallo ranked – 85.25%
6. Cedric Jay Aganan Nantong and Cherry Dale Cep Templonuevo – 84.75%
7. Robert Christian Flores Patani – 84.50%
8. Joseph Keith Paulo Tabilid Nava – 84.25%
9. Marianne Joyce Sudario Herrada – 84%
10. Yessamin Tamayo Lebaquin – 83.75%
Lebaquin shared the 10th spot with Ferla Pearl Ornopia Palomar from ISCOF.
A total of 716 out of 1,966 passed the board exam given on October 6 and 7.
