Senator Sonny Angara will administer the oath of office of elected officials in the province of Iloilo this month.

The oath-taking ceremony is set to be held at the provincial capitol lobby on June 28, 9 a.m.

Re-elected Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. said Angara is his friend, fraternity brother, and former colleague at a law firm.

He added that the senator who sits as Senate finance committee chairperson helped in allocating funds for the hospital project in the province.

Aside from Defensor, the ceremony will be attended by re-elected Vice Governor Christine Garin and Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) members.

The members include Valentine Serag and Carmelo Nochete from the First District; June Mondejar and Rolito Cajilig from the Second District; Matt Palabrica and Jason Gonzales from the Third District; Domingo Oso Jr. and Rolly Distura from the Fourth District; and Binky Tupas and Carol V. Espinosa-Diaz from the Fifth District.IMT
