An ordinance adopting and approving Iloilo City’s enhanced Local Public Transportation Route Plan (LPTRP) has been approved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
Councilor Sedfrey Cabaluna, who chairs the Committee on Transportation, thanked all stakeholders, especially the Technical Working Group, who worked hard on the realization of the ordinance.
“This is a tribute not only to the TWG but sa mga Ilonggos. Everyone that commented, critique, suggested, inyo ini,” he said.
The enhanced LPTRP, which was turned over by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to the city government last month, has 25 restructured routes from the previous 24 in the original plan.
