From Alert Level 3, Iloilo City will be under Alert Level 2 starting on Monday, Nov. 15, the National Task Force (NTF) against COVID-19 announced on Saturday, Nov. 13.
The city’s new alert level will take effect until the end of the month.
Alert Level 2 means there are no age-based mobility restrictions. It allows an increased capacity for businesses and activities.
Also placed under Alert Level 2 are Iloilo province, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Capiz, Antique, Aklan, and Guimaras.
As of Sat., Nov. 13, Western Visayas has 6,351 active cases of COVID-19.
Negros Occidental accounted for the highest number of active cases in the region at 2,978, followed by Iloilo province with 1,443; Bacolod City, 817; Capiz, 482; Iloilo City, 230; Antique, 171; Aklan, 152; and Guimaras, 178.IMT
