The Iloilo City Government received six new ambulances from the Department of Health (DOH) to ensure faster service delivery during emergencies.

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas said that these additional ambulances will greatly benefit the city in the prompt management of medical emergencies in order to save lives.

“The Iloilo City Government remains committed to further strengthening its resilience pillar, and as part of this commitment, the Department of Health turned over six new ambulances for our response team,” he said.

He said these ambulances will also be utilized for the city’s COVID-19 vaccination program to ensure the safety and protection of the city’s residents.

“We are very grateful for the continuous support of DOH in the city’s initiatives especially in fighting against the pandemic,” he added.JSC/LTP/PIA6 Iloilo
