The shooting of the Philippine remake of the Korean TV series ‘A Love to Kill’ will take place in Iloilo City.
Mayor Jerry Treñas was “very happy” that Studio Three Sixty, a production company, selected the city as the series’ shooting location.
“Nalipay guid ako nga mapabugal naton ang ciudad sa bilog nga kalibutan paagi sa mini-series nga i-shoot diri mismo sa ‘Ciudad sang Paghigugma,'” Treñas said in a statement.
The mayor assured his support for the series, which will showcase the city’s landmarks, projects, and dishes.
“Nalipay ako sa ila pagdayaw sa kanami sang aton ciudad kag daku ang akon pagsuporta sa ila nga inisyatibo,” he said.
The shooting in the city, according Treñas, will take a month.
Starring Ian Veneracion and Andrea Torres, the series will be shown on streaming giant Netflix.
The original version of the series was top-billed by South Korean stars Rain and Shin Min-A. It was aired on KBS2 in 2005.IMT
