A lone bettor from Iloilo City bagged the P401 million jackpot prize in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
The winner guessed during the draw on Saturday night, July 9, the randomly drawn six-number combination: 02-18-49-07-19-47.
“To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards,” the PCSO said in a press release.
“As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent tax,” it added.
Meanwhile, 71 bettors correctly guessed five numbers from the combination and won P100,000 each.
A total of 5,011 players were able to guess four winning numbers and got P1,500 each while 110,867 players won P60 each for guessing three numbers.IMT
