Fully vaccinated people can now enter Iloilo City without getting tested for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) or going into quarantine afterward.

This new rule, which took effect on Oct. 16 until the end of the month, is stipulated in the latest executive (EO) order issued by Mayor Jerry P. Treñas.

EO 125-2021 contains new guidelines for the implementation of general community quarantine (GCQ) in the city.

Under the EO, those allowed to enter the city includes retuning overseas Filipino workers (o (ROFs), authorized persons outside residence (APORs), and returning Iloilo City residents.

They must submit the electronic copies of their vaccination cards and vaccination certificates in order to obtain the S-Pass.

The city government also allows non-APORs from Negros Island, who have completed their vaccination, to enter the city for essential purposes.

Those who are not fully vaccinated can still travel to city provided that they register at www.s-pass.ph/ and present their RT-PCR test results released within 72 hours prior to departure.

On one hand, consumption of liquor in public places is prohibited while selling is allowed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Curfew hours have been set 12 a.m. to 4 a.m.

Still, mass gatherings outside of residence are still prohibited unless permitted by the city government upon favorable recommendation of the COVID-19 Team

Religious gatherings are allowed at 50 percent capacity while public transportation is allowed at 100 percent capacity, however, highly encouraged to carry up to 50 percent.

Banks are allowed to operate at full on-site capacity while SPAs and barbershops at 50 percent capacity plus 10 percent if they secured safety seal certifications.

Restaurants with 100 percent vaccinated personnel and with safety seals are allowed to operate up to 60 percent (indoor dining) and 80 percent (for al fresco).

Individuals aged below 18 and above 65 are not allowed to enter malls and shopping centers unless for essential purposes.IMT
