Five secondary schools in the province of Antique have received sports equipment from Governor Rhodora Cadiao.
The sports equipment, which will be stored at the teen centers, will benefit Concepcion L. Cazeñas Memorial School in Abaca, Tobias Fornier, Governor Julian F. Pacificador National School in Funda, Hamtic, Valderrama National School in Ubos, Valderrama, Libertad National Vocational School in Libertad and Sebaste High School in Idio, Sebaste.
The five schools have established teen centers. They received volleyball set with net and ball, badminton with shuttle cock, scrabble board games, chessboard, and 32” LCD TV with stand.
These centers were established to support, improve and promote the total well-being of the adolescents. It is a one stop-shop where adolescents can readily access information and services. It can also be a resource of correct and appropriate information, aid skills building or simply a place for recreation or amusement. In some cases it can also be used a facility to provide services such as counseling.
According to Lalaine G. Osunero, Principal I, Governor Julian F. Pacificador National School, they are thankful for the provincial government, especially, Governor Cadiao for her initiative in providing these equipments.

Osunero also said the sports equipment will provide leisure to the students and will help them develop their physical, mental and social health.IMT Sports
