The executive and legislative branches of the Roxas City Government pledged support to each other for the development and progress of this city.

During the recent three-day Executive Legislative Agenda (ELA) and Capacity Development Workshop, Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas has lined up his three-year development plan with the support of the local legislators led by Vice Mayor Erwin Sicad.

Included in the Seven-Point Agenda of Dadivas are free maintenance medicines for hypertensive and diabetic indigent senior citizens; year round school feeding program for wasted and severely wasted school children; service caravan in barangays; PhilHealth insurance for day care workers, barangay health workers, barangay officials and barangay tanods; educational assistance to college students; Roxas City Heritage Zone Interactive Landmark Lighting; and Redevelopment of Roxas City plaza.

Sangguniang Panlungsod members lawyer Albert Gregory Potato and Corazon Balgos-Tiangco, during the press conference here, October 28, said that the SP members present during their ELA workshop have pledged their all out support to Dadivas to realize the programs and projects that are geared towards the total development and progress of Roxas City.

Potato said the Sanggunian will pass appropriate ordinances that will complement the programs of the executive. /JEMIN B. GUILLERMO
