Power consumers in the province of Iloilo have been given a 30-day payment extension for their bills.
Iloilo Electric Cooperatives (ILECO) I,II and III decided to allow their customers to pay their February and March bills 30 days after the due dates.
The extension was due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
The entire province is currently under “enhanced community quarantine” or lockdown.
The electric cooperatives also suspended its disconnection, reconnection, and installation activities.
Their offices are temporarily closed until April 14 to protect their employees against COVID-19.
They, however, assured that their maintenance crew are on standby to respond to power-related emergencies.IMT
