Dolphins were sighted in the waters off Concepcion Bay in the province of Iloilo last Friday, July 23.
Video uploader Berlin Gallardo said they spotted at least 12 dolphins swimming from Barangay Loong to Puntalis Port in Barangay Nipa.
On board a motor banca, Gallardo took the video of the dolphins and followed them until they disappeared.
“Abi ko mga tawo nga nagalangoy o basi nadisgrasya sa lawod, gintan-aw ko gamit ang binoculars kag kita ko mga sirik kag basi sa ila paglangoy daw dolphins,” he shared.
“Ginfollow ko sila para masigurado ila safety while keeping my distance. Nadula man lang sila sang ara na sila sa area sang dagat na gina-agyan ka mga dalagko nga barko,” Gallordo added.
According to him, it was his first time to personally see a pod of dolphins.
“Natural may dolphins sa dagat pro pareho sa akon nga nagdaku sa Concepcion, sa 6 years ko diri first time ko lang kakita pod of dolphins,” said Gallardo.IMT
