Another patient in Western Visayas has recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), according to the Department of Health (DOH).
The recovered patient, based on data from the region’s health department, is from Bacolod City.
There are now two COVID-19 recoveries in the region. The first survivor is also from Bacolod City.
No new cases and deaths due to COVID-19 were reported by the DOH-6 on Thursday, April 2.
The number of positive cases in the region remained at 25, including 5 deaths and 2 recoveries.
The COVID-19 fatalities are from Iloilo province (2), Iloilo City (1), Capiz (1), and Bacolod City (1).
The province of Iloilo posted the most number of cases with 7, followed by Bacolod City, 6; Aklan, 5; Iloilo City, 3; Capiz, 3; and Negros Occidental, 1. Antique and Guimaras have zero cases.IMT
