COVID-19 deaths in Iloilo City now at 4

There are now four people in Iloilo City who died from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The Department of Health (DOH-6) reported on Tuesday, July 21, the city’s 4th COVID-19 death.

The latest fatality involved a 69-year-old male from Barangay Ortiz in City Proper, Iloilo City.

The patient was admitted to a hospital on July 6 after experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. He underwent swab testing on the same day.

The following day, the patient, who had no travel history outside the Western Visayas region, passed away.

Dr. Ma. Sophia Pulmones, DOH-6 spokesperson, said the deceased patient had underlying diseases.IMT
