Dr. Ferjenel Biron was the biggest spender among the elected district representatives in the province of Iloilo in the May 9 elections.
The Fourth District Representative-elect spent P615 thousand for his campaign, his Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) showed.
Biron ran under the Nacionalista Party (NP) banner against Reynaldo Galeno and Antonio Parcon.
The second biggest spender was Raul Tupas of the Fifth District who incurred a total of P562 thousand in campaign expenses for his congressional bid.
He was followed by Dr. Janette Garin of the First District (P510 thousand), Michael Gorriceta of the Second District (P328 thousand), and Lorenz Defensor of the Third District (P94 thousand).IMT
