Ports and casino tycoon Enrique Razon Jr. visited Iloilo on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
He met with City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., and Representative Jamjam Baronda.
“[Razon] visits the metro as we collaborate in bringing the best service to the Ilonggos,” Treñas wrote in a Facebook post.
The billionaire owns More Electric Power Corporation (MORE Power), the sole power distributor in the city.
“We are very excited to talk about the next steps towards progress through our strong partnership,” Treñas said.
Razon, the third richest Filipino according to Forbes, is the chairman of port operator International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI).
He is also the chairman of Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, which owns the Manila gambling complex Solaire Resort & Casino.IMT
