Iloilo City Representative Julienne “Jamjam” Baronda and other government officials have been accused of disobeying health protocols.
A photo of Baronda, Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV ) Assistant Secretary Jonji Gonzales, and a Department of Health (DOH) official, among others is circulating on social media.
The officials reportedly held a meeting at a restaurant in Dumangas town, Iloilo province on April 13.
Netizens were dismayed that the officials were not observing physical distancing and the mandatory use of face masks.
They said Baronda, who arrived in Iloilo on April 7 from Manila, should also undergo a 14-day home quarantine.
