The murder of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo along with eight other provincial government officials last March 14 may have been declared case closed by the Department of Justice after having arrested 11 suspects who eventually identified Negros Oriental Representative Arnie Teves as the mastermind and it is now up to the prosecution to ensure that justice is served. Unfortunately, the identified mastermind is still on the loose and is enjoying his freedom somewhere.

Becoming a prey

Ra Ki Sha, a 17 year old teen from Iloilo City, hugged the limelight most recently after showing her butt and boobs while dancing at MO2 Ice, a disco bar in Mandurriao district. Somebody took a video of her antics and posted it on social media and the rest was to quote her in a post attributed to a lady journalist “thank you for giving me the chance to be known.”

In his recent State of the Nation Address (SONA) President Bongbong Marcos underscored his six-year housing program, the 4PH or Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino. The President hopes to address the 6.5 million houses backlog in the country by constructing one million houses in the next six years. The planned housing program is high rise and is estimated to cost around P3500 to P4000 monthly.

Last week, the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) Appeals Chamber based in the Hague, Netherlands voted 3-2 rejecting the appeal of the Philippine government to stop its investigation into the murderous and bloody anti-illegal drug campaign during the Duterte administration despite the country’s withdrawal of membership from the court.
