Dumalag Mayor Amado Eriberto “Odoy” Castro strongly denied the allegation of Tapaz Mayor Roberto Palomar that the latter’s budget intended for the farm-to-market road (FMR) project in his town was taken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DWPH) 2nd Engineering District and transferred it to Dumalag for the construction of its municipal hall building and public market.

The local government of Tapaz declared the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 2nd Engineering District head as persona non grata after the latter transferred the fund intended for the farm-to-market road (FMR) to Dumalag town.

A member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) has urged Capiz Governor Esteban “Nonoy” Contreras to revoke the appointment of Dr. Edwin Monares as provincial administrator (PA) of the province of Capiz.
