Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in the province and city of Iloilo are well-stocked with cash during the holiday season, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
BSP-Iloilo Bank Officer II Andrew June Ligad said on Friday, Dec. 25, they were given assurance by banks that their ATMs have ample supply of cash.
Cash withdrawals from ATMs this December usually increase compared to other months.
The whole Iloilo, according to Ligad, has sufficient currency supply to meet the demand.
Meanwhile, the BSP-Iloilo reminded the public to be vigilant when withdrawing money from ATMs and banks to avoid being victimized by unscrupulous individuals.IMT
