Kheshapornam “Kesha” Empedrad Ramachandran of Iloilo City has been selected as one of the official candidates of Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2021.
The aircraft maintenance technology graduate made it to the “Final 30” of the national beauty pageant.
The MUP organization announced this year’s official lineup after five challenges (Headshot, Introduction Video, Runway, Casting Challenge, and Interview).
Kesha was born in Malaysia to a half Indian Father and an Ilongga mother. She has two older brothers.
“It was just a childhood dream joining miss universe and now it is really happening!” the 20-year-old Ilongga lass said in a previous report by IMT NEWS.
Kesha vowed to do her best to win the MUP 2021 crown.
“Himuon ko gid ang tanan para mapuli ta ang korona sang Miss Universe Philippines Palangga ko kamo tanan,” she said.
Christelle Abello of Aklan and Noelyn Rose Mabuhay Campos of Antique are also part of the Top 30.
The coronation ceremony is scheduled on Sept. 25. The winner will represent the country in the 70th Miss Universe in Israel in December.IMT
