Second District Capiz Rep. Fredenil H. Castro has challenged Sen. Panfilo Lacson to reveal his sources in accusing the House of Representatives of inserting pork barrel funds in the 2020 budget.
Lacson claimed that billions of pesos worth of pork have been embedded in the proposed budget.
According to Castro, the former House majority leader, he has no idea of Lacson’s basis for his claims.
He said he respects Lacson’s the right to criticize and scrutinize the proposed P4.1 trillion national budget for 2020.
But Castro stressed that “it is necessary that the information should first be verified.”IMT
