Five graduates from Iloilo City emerged as topnotchers of the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
Maria Vanneza Grace Acharon of the University of Iloilo (UI) and Ivan Omar Lusterio Nobleza of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) rankd 9th and 10th, respectively, in the Elementary Level.
Based on the results released by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday night, Dec. 16, Acharon got a passing rate of 92.80% while Nobleza obtained a score of 92.60%.
In the Secondary Level, Althea Cuenta Guanzon of West Visayas State University (WVSU-La Paz), Alyssa Kate Banjao Arroyo of Central Philippine University and Mylen Quinanahan Piosca of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV-Iloilo City) made it to the top 10.
Guanzon secured the 9th spot with a passing rate of 92.60% while Arroyo and Piasco claimed the 10th spot with a score of 92.40%.
A total of 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43%) and 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94%) passed the exam conducted last October 2 in Thailand and in 34 testing centers all over the Philippines.IMT
