Up to 400 food and beverage kiosks will be put up in Iloilo City’s downtown area during the Dinagyang Food Festival in January next year.
These kiosks will be made available for rent to vendors for the three-day highlights of the festival from January 19-22, 2023.
The registration, which will be on a first come, first served basis, is set on Dec. 16 and 17 at Marymart Shopping Center. Rentals priced between P8,000 to P12,000.
J Scott Galvez Sarria, one of the organizers of the food festival, said the kiosks will be situated along Aldeguer Street, Yulo Street, Delgado Street, and Valeria Street.
Measures will be implemented to ensure that vendors are observing proper food preparation, according to Sarria, who is also the administrator of the “Kaon ‘Ta, Iloilo” Facebook group.
Meanwhile, tickets for the Tribes Competition (Jan. 21) and Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan (Jan. 22) will go on sale starting on Dec. 15.
The tickets, with prices ranging from P3,000 to P4,000, will be sold at Iloilo City Hall, Hotel Del Rio, GT Iloilo Hotel, and Richmonde Hotel.IMT
