3 more COVID-19 patients in WV recover; total now at 27

Three more coronavirus-positive patients recovered from the dreaded disease in Western Visayas.

The new coronavirus disease 2019 survivors are from Caluya, Antique. Their repeat tests yielded negative results.

Dr. May Ann Soliva-Sta. Lucia, head of the Health Promotion of the Department of Health (DOH-6), said the recoveries include the following:

◾74-year-old male
◾45-year-old male
◾59-yer-old male 

These bring the total number of recovered patients in the region to 27.

The DOH-6 reported zero new case of COVID-19 on Thursday, April 30. The number of cases remains at 66, including nine deaths.

Iloilo province has the most number COVID-19 in the region with 20, followed by Antique, 13; Bacolod Citycand Iloilo City, 9 each; Aklan, 6; Capiz, 5; and Negros Occidental, 4.

Guimaras is the province in Western Visayas that has no case of the viral disease.IMT
