Three Iloilo City Hall department heads and an executive assistant have been infected with the new coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2 which causes COVID-19.

Jeck Conlu, City COVID-19 Team spokesperson, disclosed on Saturday, Sept. 26, that City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRM) head Donna Magno, Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) head Leo Elevencione, and General Services Office (GSO) head Joren Sartorio tested positive for COVID-19.

The deadly virus also infected one of the executive assitants of Mayor Jerry Trenas, according to Conlu.

The four coronavirus-positive city government employees are asymptomatic ang currently under facility quarantine.

Based on the Sept. 25 bulletin released by the Department of Health (DOH-6), the city recorded 2,067 indigenous or local cases of COVID-19, including 1111 recoveries, and 52 deaths.IMT
